In Mozilla’s terms, extensions (NoScript, uBlock Origin, Decentraleyes…) + themes + plugins (Flash, Silverlight…) + language packs + user scripts + search engines etc. are all collectively “add-ons”. Basically everything you can add to Firefox is an add-on.
